Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Joe Ball (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shawn Destruction (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ball comes into the arena with Hammer Smashed Face blaring out of the sound system. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, George Francis and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ball throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Destruction's waist but Destruction gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Ball off to one side.
Destruction ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Destruction sizes up Ball with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
It looks like Joe Ball has been cut.
Destruction digs a good body shot into Ball's ribs.
Destruction lands with a hook. Ball tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Destruction throws a head kick but Ball moves out of range.
Destruction cracks Ball with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Ball throws a hook but Destruction blocks it.
Ball throws a nice looking combination but Destruction bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Destruction lands with a hook. Ball tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Ball is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Destruction loads up on a big right hand but Ball slips the punch.

Ball shoots in looking for a takedown. Destruction tries to sprawl out of it but Ball keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Destruction manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Ball misses with a hook. Destruction ducked under it nicely.

Destruction looks for the body kick but Ball saw that one coming.
Destruction uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Ball.

Destruction keeps control of Ball as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Ball's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Destruction fails with an attempt to clinch.

and Destruction counters by clinching up.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Joe Ball's cut is getting worse.

Destruction is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Destruction creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Destruction's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.

Joe Ball's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
Destruction stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.

Destruction is trying to trip Ball. He has hold of a leg but Ball is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Destruction persists though and gets the takedown into guard.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Ball is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Ball throws a strike but Destruction rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Ball moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
Destruction rushes Ball and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Ball gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Destruction.

Destruction has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Destruction there as he acknowledges the shot.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
