Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Alexander Vostovischk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Derek Hunt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Derek Hunt!
The judges for this bout are Dmitry Maklakov, Vladimir Khabensky and Valeri Chadov.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Hunt shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.

Hunt shoots in looking for a takedown. Vostovischk tries to sprawl out of it but Hunt keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Vostovischk manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Vostovischk looks to land a right hand but Hunt moved out of range.
Hunt swats away the attempt to clinch by Vostovischk.

Hunt shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Hunt seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

Hunt wants to advance to full mount but Vostovischk doesn't think that's going to happen and regains full guard instead.

Hunt is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Hunt. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man.
