Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Peter Jackson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jason Allen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Allen comes into a darkened arena with his song building. The Realest Sport kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Jason Allen will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jackson walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Allen misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Jackson.
Jackson throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Allen has Jackson pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Jackson manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

Jackson can't find room to land a body shot as Allen controls the action.
Allen tries to land a knee to the head but Jackson blocks with his arms.
Jackson is trying to wear down his opponent with knees to the body.
Allen gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Jackson.

Allen has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Jackson breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Allen pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Jackson throws a body punch but Allen moves out of range.
Jackson ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Allen moves away.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Peter Jackson dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Jackson is keen to just control but Allen is a slippery customer.

Jackson is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Allen doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Jackson.

That was a close second round but I would say that Peter Jackson will probably get the nod.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Jackson, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
