Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Astolfo de Mello (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lina Neto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Astolfo de Mello has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Astolfo de Mello seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Neto shoots in for a double leg but de Mello sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
de Mello on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
de Mello moves in looking to clinch but Neto pushes him off.
Neto throws a right and a left that de Mello avoids nicely.
Excellent takedown into side control there by de Mello.
de Mello wants to control but Neto is keeping him busy.
de Mello tries to score with some ground and pound. Neto controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.

de Mello uses his free foot to push down on Neto's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Neto.

The referee warns Neto that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
de Mello connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
de Mello takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
de Mello goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Neto is on top in guard.

Neto bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in de Mello's guard.
