Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jari Harrikari (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jonathan Weed (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Harrikari's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Tool - Forty Six & 2 . Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jari Harrikari! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jonathan Weed! The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Stewart Dunkirk and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Weed misses with a takedown attempt - Harrikari sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Harrikari throws a series of punches but Weed avoids them all with ease. Harrikari keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Harrikari throws a hook but Weed blocks it. Weed connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Harrikari momentarily.

Harrikari scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Weed doesn't seem bothered though. Harrikari dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Weed. That did some damage! Weed with a jab. Harrikari tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
That's one minute gone in the round. Weed will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Jonathan Weed seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Weed tries to clinch but Harrikari is having none of it. Weed throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Harrikari. Weed lands a right hook to the body.
Harrikari is looking to slow Weed down with leg kicks. Weed on the wrong end of a nice hook. Weed lands a nice hook to Harrikari's body. Harrikari takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. Weed connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Weed loads up on a big right hand but Harrikari slips the punch.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A looping hook to the body misses from Weed. Harrikari does a little dance to reset his feet. Weed misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Harrikari.

Harrikari throws a head kick that misses. Weed shoots in and gets a takedown into Harrikari's guard. Harrikari pulls Weed in close to prevent any damage. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Weed wanted to stand there but Harrikari had control of the position.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Harrikari pulls Weed in close to his closed guard and prevents Weed from doing any damage or advancing position. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Weed tries to free his leg and advance position but Harrikari is retaining full guard.
We're going to have a standup here because Jari Harrikari wasn't active enough for the referee's liking. Weed scoring well with a low kick there.
Weed is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Harrikari. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jonathan Weed dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Weed stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. Weed throws a series of punches but Harrikari moves out of range. Harrikari throws a hook to the side of Weed's head but Weed sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. A punch combination from Weed misses. A decent looking cross lands there for Harrikari. Harrikari chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Weed can pounce on him.
Weed walks into a straight right hand from Harrikari. Harrikari tries to clinch up. Weed thows a left - swing and a miss! Weed chopping away at his opponent's legs.
That's one minute gone in the round. Good shot there by Weed. Weed with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Weed throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Harrikari's waist but Harrikari gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Weed off to one side. Weed throws a sloppy head kick and Harrikari counters with a straight right hand. Harrikari misses with a hook. Weed throws a shot to the body.

and Harrikari counters with a lovely shot to the body. Weed throws a jab when Harrikari was well out of range.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Harrikari throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Harrikari tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target. Jari Harrikari is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Weed throws a quick inside leg kick. Weed scores with a leg kick.
Weed cracks Harrikari with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. Harrikari wants to clinch but Weed slips to the side and Weed counters with an inside leg kick. Weed throws a jab when Harrikari was well out of range. Harrikari throws a head kick that misses and Weed counters with a solid body kick. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Harrikari has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Weed finds it's way round the side to connect with Harrikari's head.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Harrikari tries to clinch enabling Weed to counter with a crisp jab. Weed moves into range and lands a nice leg kick. Weed tries to land a leg kick but Harrikari saw it coming and moves away.
A slow jab from Weed misses its intended target. Weed feints and as Harrikari raises his hands in defense, Weed changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Weed wanted to stand there but Harrikari had control of the position. Weed content to stall in guard here.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Harrikari working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Weed doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Weed manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Weed's corner is telling him to maintain position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jonathan Weed showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!
Harrikari keeps the fight on the outside. Weed throws a sloppy head kick and Harrikari counters with a good low kick that Weed was not able to check. Harrikari thows a leg kick but Weed checks it and Weed counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Weed falls off balance throwing a combination
and Harrikari counters with a flying knee. Nice. No luck with that takedown attempt from Weed. Ouch! a nice leg kick from Weed, right into the meat.
Harrikari thows a leg kick but Weed checks it and Weed counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Harrikari's guard now. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's one minute gone in the round. Weed would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Harrikari looking for a sweep. Not yet Harrikari, not yet. Harrikari is controlling Weed's posture. Harrikari is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Jari Harrikari has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Weed gets full guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Harrikari trying to control but Weed is working from the bottom. Weed looking to control.

That's three minutes gone in the round. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Harrikari trying to control the position from guard on top but Weed is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Jari Harrikari. Harrikari throws a lazy head kick and Weed counters with a right hand to the body. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Harrikari takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor. Harrikari tries to work over Weed's front leg with a kick but Weed checks it. Harrikari ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Weed moves away. Harrikari slips a jab from Weed. Harrikari connects with a looping right hand.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A swing and a miss from Harrikari. Weed is looking to clinch. Harrikari is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight. Weed scores with a crisp jab that stopped Harrikari in his tracks. Weed will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Harrikari takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Jonathan Weed is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Weed jabs at Harrikari's body. Weed throws a left and a right that both miss
and Harrikari counters with a right hand to the body. Harrikari takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
And that's the end of the fight! Jonathan Weed comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Weed has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
