Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Johnny Hawla (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and George Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hawla's entrance music is Ten Thousand Fists. A fine choice. Jones has chosen . as his entrance music. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Kenichi Hosakawa and Yukihiro Shimada.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hawla rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Jones moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Jones tries to clinch up but Hawla circles away and keeps his distance.
Jones connects with a nice looking jab.
It looks like Johnny Hawla has been cut.
Jones scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.

Jones misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Hawla.
Hawla seems to have got his legs back now.
Jones turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!

Jones wants to control but Hawla is keeping him busy.

Jones cracks Hawla with a big elbow.
Jones slows the pace down.

Hawla sneaks back into half guard.
Jones has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The referee warns Hawla that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Hawla wants to control but Jones is having none of it.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Johnny Hawla's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
