Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jethro Pingshaw (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and An Maki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Pingshaw might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Heart of a Champion. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Jethro Pingshaw! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, An Maki! The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Yuuki Gou.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Pingshaw tries a head kick but it misses.
A solid body kick from Pingshaw. Pingshaw pulls out of a head kick attempt.
No joy there for Maki, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Maki scores with a three punch combo!
A head kick misses from Pingshaw. Pingshaw throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Maki lands a two punch combo.
Maki throws a series of punches but Pingshaw avoids them all with ease. Pingshaw takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Pingshaw throws a body punch but Maki moves out of range. Maki fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Pingshaw looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Pingshaw throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Pingshaw dodges the punch combination from Maki.
Maki throws a series of punches but Pingshaw moves out of range. Pingshaw works the jab nicely.
It looks like An Maki has been cut. Pingshaw takes a shot right to the bread basket. Maki scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Maki throws a right hand that Pingshaw ducks under and follows up with a left that Pingshaw also avoids with ease. Pingshaw throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Maki throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Pingshaw. Pingshaw misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Maki misses with a series of wild punches.
Pingshaw scores with a sloppy right hand. Maki should have avoided that one. This has been an exciting period of action! Pingshaw tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Maki was well out of range. Poor timing from Pingshaw. Jethro Pingshaw seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
That's one minute gone in the round. Pingshaw on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Maki connects with a looping right hand.
Maki takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Maki misses with a wild combination.
Maki avoids the head kick by Pingshaw.
Pingshaw dodges the punch combination from Maki.
A punch lands to the side of Pingshaw 's head but he takes it in his stride. Maki dips to his left and cracks Pingshaw with an uppercut! Maki blocks a head kick by Pingshaw.
Pingshaw lands a head kick. Maki smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
Maki is rocked! Pingshaw misses with a series of wild punches.
Maki is still on wobbly legs! Can Pingshaw finish him? Maki drops his hands momentarily and Pingshaw needs no second invitation. He sets himself and throws a perfect high kick, that clips Maki just on the top of the head. Maki drops like a sack of potatoes to the canvas, out cold! Oooooooh yeah! Stick a fork in Maki - he's done!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:38 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Jethro Pingshaw!
