Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Rivilinho Rivaldo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Renan Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Silva is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Guerreiro. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Rivaldo swivels and escapes.
Rivaldo looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Silva looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Rivaldo!
Silva looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.
Rivaldo is trying to get back to his feet but can't.
Silva jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Rivaldo is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Rivaldo and Silva has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.
Silva tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.

Rivaldo is trying to buck Silva off.
Silva wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Rivaldo, who protects the arm well.
Silva is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Rivaldo knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Silva thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Rivaldo sneaks back into half guard.
Silva is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Rivaldo is just riding it out for now. Silva eventually gives up the hold.
Silva is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Silva looks gassed!

Silva prevents Rivaldo from improving his position.
Silva is looking for a kimura but Rivaldo is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Silva to get the leverage.

Rivaldo pushes Silva off and gets back to his feet.
Rivaldo throws a right hand that Silva ducks under and follows up with a left that Silva also avoids with ease.
Rivaldo throws a hook to the side of Silva's head but Silva sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Rivilinho Rivaldo is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Rivaldo scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Rivaldo defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Silva.

Silva closes this distance looking for a takedown but Rivaldo circles away.
Rivilinho Rivaldo has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Renan Silva.
Silva takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Silva shoots in for a double leg but Rivaldo sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Rivaldo misses with a wild body shot.
Rivaldo lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Silva at a distance.
Silva defending well as Rivaldo loads up on a big left hand.
Silva walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Rivaldo connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Silva is rocked!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Rivaldo misses with a two punch combination.
Silva is still on wobbly legs! Can Rivaldo finish him?
Silva shoots for a double leg takedown but Rivaldo sprawls well. He's pushed Silva's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Rivaldo uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Rivaldo drops Silva with a straight left! Oh this is bad for Silva! Rivaldo dives in and starts dropping bombs - the referee has no choice but to step in and save him!
