And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Donnie Depew!
The judges for this bout are Johanna Lukiainen, Arvi Lind and Roosa Järviläinen.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Caine stuffs the takedown attempt from Depew. Depew gets slowly back to his feet.

Caine gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Depew trying to control the position from guard on top but Caine is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Caine is looking to stand up but Depew isn't so interested in that idea.
Depew throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Caine works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Depew stops Caine from standing up.
Caine keeping full guard, as Depew tries to pass.
Depew has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Depew passes Caine's left leg - he's now in half guard.

Caine pushes Depew off looking to stand but Depew dives back in and keeps control.
Depew is looking to take a break and control but Caine is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Caine misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Depew.
Caine throws a big shot that misses.
Depew moves away from the strike by Caine.
Depew throws a low kick but Caine avoids it.
Depew avoids the body shot from Caine.
Caine thows a body shot but no joy.
Depew closes the distance and clinches up with Caine, looking for a takedown. Depew pushes Caine against the cage but Caine circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Alex Caine seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Depew moves away from the strike by Caine.
Depew on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Caine defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Depew.
Alex Caine has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Donnie Depew.
Caine looks to score with a jab to the body but Depew is just out of range.
Caine throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Depew moves out of range as Caine strikes.
Caine stuns Depew with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Caine rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Depew moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Depew shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Caine pinned against the cage. Caine gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Caine throws a right hand that Depew ducks under and follows up with a left that Depew also avoids with ease.
Depew blocks a jab.

Depew ducks under a wild hook from Caine.
Caine keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Depew fails with a takedown attempt.
Caine just misses with a punch to the body.
Depew ducks right into an uppercut from Caine.

Depew is rocked!
Depew uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Caine.
Depew is still on wobbly legs! Can Caine finish him?
I'm just looking down at my notes here and I see that.... oh! Caine has cracked Depew with a big right, followed by a left! He's out on his feet! Caine lands another huge swinging hook and Depew tumbles to the canvas! The ref dives in to save Depew, before Caine can land any more shots!
