2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, William Anderson! The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Sosuke Kotani and Shirou Masuda.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kimono lands with a kick to the temple. Anderson shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?" Anderson shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Kimono's guard. Kimono wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now. Kimono's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. Anderson sitting in guard, not really doing much. Kimono has control of Anderson's left arm, preventing Anderson from doing any damage. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. Anderson jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Kimono walks away with a smile on his face. Anderson gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Franek Kimono has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of William Anderson. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Kimono wants to clinch but Anderson slips to the side and Anderson counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. Kimono closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Kimono wants to break the clinch but can't.
Anderson gets control of Kimono's arms and successfully pulls guard. Anderson will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. Anderson looking to control.
