Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kobe Jodan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and JJ McQuade (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). JJ McQuade will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kobe Jodan!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, JJ McQuade!
The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Wesley Smith and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jodan wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Jodan closes this distance looking for a takedown but McQuade circles away.
McQuade pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
McQuade thuds a left hand into Jodan's body.
McQuade misses with an uppercut. Jodan saw that one coming.
A swing and a miss from McQuade.
McQuade rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Jodan moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
McQuade misses with the combination.

McQuade swings and misses with a hook to the body.
McQuade swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
McQuade scores with a punch to the head.
Jodan shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Jodan was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
McQuade is trying to get to the cage to help him get back to his feet.
McQuade is in a horrible position here. Jodan smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
It looks like JJ McQuade has been cut.
McQuade tries to hold on but Jodan pushes him away.
That's one minute gone in the round.
A nice elbow there by Jodan.
McQuade is desperately trying to improve his position but Jodan has a good base and remains in mount.
Jodan working for a submission but McQuade is keeping him at bay.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Jodan cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
McQuade is trying to escape the mount.
McQuade is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.
Jodan cracks McQuade with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
That has opened up JJ McQuade's cut even more.
Jodan is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. McQuade can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Jodan lands a nice shot to the head.
The cut above JJ McQuade's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at JJ McQuade's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:20 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Kobe Jodan!
