Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Heydar Zahedani (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mamoud Jenkins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jenkins has chosen Roots Bloody Roots- Sepultura as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jenkins fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Zahedani sprawls well initially but Jenkins persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Jenkins throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Zahedani has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Jenkins can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
