Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Braylon Beswicke!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 14 - 0, fighting out of New York, Mark Selwoods!
The judges for this bout are Reed Andrews, John Roberts and David Schapiro.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fighters circling - Beswicke throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Beswicke misses with a series of wild punches.
Beswicke just misses with a punch to the body.
Beswicke throws an overhand right that lands on Selwoods's shoulder, as Selwoods tries to avoid the shot.
Beswicke stuns Selwoods with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Horrible takedown by Selwoods or perhaps it was just good defense by Beswicke which made him look bad.
Selwoods misses with a wild body shot.
Braylon Beswicke seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Beswicke scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Beswicke moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Beswicke lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Selwoods will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Selwoods takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Selwoods tries to clinch but Beswicke moves out of range.
Beswicke throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Selwoods.
Beswicke misses with a wild combination.

Selwoods moves in looking to clinch but Beswicke pushes him off.
The crowd cheers as Beswicke lands an impressive looking overhand right. Selwoods doesn't seem phased though.
A big left from Beswicke misses.
Beswicke bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Selwoods's head.

Beswicke clinches up with Selwoods and pushes him back against the cage.
The referee calls for Beswicke to work.

Beswicke breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Selwoods throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Beswicke's waist but Beswicke gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Selwoods off to one side.
Braylon Beswicke has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mark Selwoods.
Selwoods tries for a takedown but Beswicke sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Beswicke showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Selwoods.
Selwoods looks gassed!
Selwoods fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Beswicke throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.

Beswicke lands a body shot.
Selwoods takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Braylon Beswicke is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Beswicke gets a clinch.
Beswicke lands a hook that snaps the head of Selwoods backwards.

Beswicke's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Beswicke lands a right hook to the body.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Beswicke throws a nice outside leg kick.
Selwoods avoids a punch combination nicely.

It looks like Mark Selwoods has been cut.

Beswicke has managed to clinch.

Beswicke breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Beswicke misses the body punch

and Selwoods counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Beswicke!
Beswicke working to try and regain half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Beswicke trying desperately to get to his feet.

Beswicke is trying desperately to improve position.
Selwoods wants to control the action but instead Beswicke gets a body lock and reverses into Selwoods's guard! Nice work!
Beswicke controls the pace of the fight for a moment.

Selwoods is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Beswicke is aware though and is defending well.

Beswicke gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Selwoods takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Selwoods stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Beswicke.
Beswicke is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.
A slapping leg kick lands for Beswicke.
Beswicke misses with a wild combination.
Selwoods takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Selwoods scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Selwoods stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Beswicke.
Beswicke misses with a combination
letting Selwoods counter with a right hand.
Beswicke tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Selwoods was well out of range. Poor timing from Beswicke.
Selwoods takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Selwoods tries for a takedown but Beswicke sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Selwoods swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Beswicke lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Selwoods at a distance.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Beswicke lands with a kick to the temple. Selwoods shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
Beswicke buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Nice uppercut there from Beswicke.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Braylon Beswicke dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Mark Selwoods's cut.
That's time! Back to the action!


Selwoods shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Selwoods shoots in for a takedown but Beswicke shows good takedown defense.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Selwoods.
Beswicke scores with a three punch combo!


Selwoods is rocked!
Beswicke throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Selwoods sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Beswicke throws a nice looking combination but Selwoods bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Selwoods takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
Selwoods slips a jab and a cross from Beswicke.
Beswicke goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
Selwoods is still on wobbly legs! Can Beswicke finish him?
Beswicke feints a kick and comes over the top with a right hand, followed by a left hook - both land, sending Selwoods crashing to the mat! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:50 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Braylon Beswicke!
