Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ami Dent (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John The Pitbull (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dent's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, DJ Madman - Meisje zo lelijk als de nacht . The Pitbull is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Johnny B. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Albert Achterberg and Nard Betker.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The Pitbull moves out of range as Dent throws a body kick.
The Pitbull takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Dent will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
The Pitbull throws a hook to the side of Dent's head but Dent sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Dent shoots in and bounces The Pitbull off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Dent wants to control from the top but The Pitbull keeps moving.
Dent postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Dent throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as The Pitbull works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Dent missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
The Pitbull is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Dent is aware though and is defending well.

Dent is pushing down on The Pitbull's leg trying to pass to half guard. The Pitbull is fighting to maintain full guard but Dent has managed to sneak the leg through.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.

The Pitbull gets caught flat footed, as Dent shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.

The Pitbull escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Dent gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
The Pitbull is trying to control the position but Dent postures up.

The Pitbull looking to hit a scissor sweep but Dent is one step ahead there.
The Pitbull has momentary wrist control but Dent slips an elbow through the middle.

Dent throws and elbow that misses. The Pitbull uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Dent's guard. Nice move by The Pitbull!
The Pitbull working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Dent's head.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Dent fakes high and swings low for a body shot but The Pitbull manages to avoid it.
Dent shoots in looking for a takedown. The Pitbull tries to sprawl out of it but Dent keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. The Pitbull manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
The Pitbull leaves Dent with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Dent shoots in for a takedown but The Pitbull shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ami Dent. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Dent misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from The Pitbull.
Dent shoots in but no luck this time.
The Pitbull dips down and scores with a jab to the body.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. The Pitbull lands a nice short elbow.

The Pitbull lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
This has been an exciting period of action!
The Pitbull wants to control but Dent is keeping him busy.
The Pitbull uses his free foot to push down on Dent's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Dent.

The Pitbull has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Dent's face.

The Pitbull is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Dent to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Dent shrugs it off.

John The Pitbull showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

The Pitbull throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Dent stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Dent has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from The Pitbull finds it's way round the side to connect with Dent's head.
The Pitbull closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Dent! The Pitbull dives in looking to finish! Dent is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!
