Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jim Kent (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kenny Williams (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Kent might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to BLUNT- "The Iron Maiden". Kenny Williams has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Kenny Williams!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Paulsen Ambrosius and Radbod Blank.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kent pivots, looking for a leg kick but Williams is out of range and Kent settles back down.
A looping hook to the body misses from Williams. Kent does a little dance to reset his feet.
Williams throws a body punch but Kent moves out of range.
Williams rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Kent moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Williams tries to clinch but Kent moves out of range.
Williams tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Williams looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

Kent shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Williams is trying to defend but Kent finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Kent sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Williams's guard.
Kent winds up and cracks Williams with a swinging punch to the side of the head.

Kent bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Williams is desperately trying to improve his position but Kent has a good base and remains in mount.

and Kent counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Williams is lucky that one didn't land flush.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Williams lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Kent circles away quickly and effectively.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Kent had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Williams defends it easily.

Williams takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
Kent scores with punches from side control.
Williams tries to buck Kent off but Kent is having none of it.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Williams gets back to full guard.

Williams manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

Kent sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Kent, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
