Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Crazy Dog (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tristian Riley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dog comes to the cage accompanied by Fan of Marrizle. Tristian Riley told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Crazy Dog! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
8 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Tristian Riley! The judges for this bout are Mauricio Rocha, Luis Engracia and Paulo Santos.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Riley doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Riley misses with a head kick.
Tristian Riley seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Riley lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh. Decent striking displayed by Dog there. Dog avoids the body shot from Riley.
Riley missing with a left hand there. Dog was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Riley moves out of range of the strikes. Riley lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt. Riley misses with a kick to the body.
Riley scores with a slapping inside leg kick. Riley throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Dog's head. Riley takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket. Riley swings away with a leg kick that misses. Dog blocks a head kick by Riley.

Dog throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Riley sees it coming and avoids it easily. Riley throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Dog throws a right and a left that Riley avoids nicely. Dog misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
That's one minute gone in the round. Dog's corner calls for a 1-2. Dog obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range. Riley tries a head kick but it misses.

Riley throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean. Dog thows a leg kick but Riley checks it and Riley counters with a head kick. That will keep Dog thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks! Dog misses with a few strikes there.
Dog misses with a leg kick and Riley counters with an inside leg kick. Dog throws a right hand that Riley ducks under and follows up with a left that Riley also avoids with ease. A clash of legs there as Riley blocks the low kick. Dog tries to clinch up but Riley circles away and keeps his distance. Riley showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Dog.

Riley throws a head kick that misses. Riley thows a left - swing and a miss! Dog throws a right and a left that Riley avoids nicely. Riley throws a head kick that misses. Dog throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Riley ducks right into an uppercut from Dog. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Good work by Dog as he checks the leg kick. Dog throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Riley lands with a right hand. Dog tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Riley is able to avoid easily.

Riley fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Dog checks it well. Riley with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Dog fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Riley feints and then cracks Dog's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Dog down. Dog takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. Dog avoids the head kick by Riley.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Riley fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Dog is out of range. Dog throws a series of punches but Riley avoids them all with ease. Riley misses with a head kick.
Good leg kick by Riley there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

Dog steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Riley. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Riley looking to land some kicks to the body here.

Dog ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Riley moves away. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Tristian Riley dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Dog looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Riley! Dog controlling the position easily from mount. Riley is trying to escape the mount.

That's one minute gone in the round. Dog controlling the pace for now. Dog lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Dog has hold of Riley's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Riley manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Riley is looking to get to half guard. Dog lands with some strikes. Dog trying to control but Riley is having none of it. Riley is trying to escape the mount.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Dog controlling from the full mount. Dog looking to control but Riley is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Dog takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Dog's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. Dog unloading with bombs!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Dog tries to control but Riley wriggling away. Riley is looking to improve his position but Dog isn't that keen on the idea. Riley regains half guard.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Crazy Dog. Dog punishes Riley's body with a nice straight punch. Riley throws a head kick that Dog semi-blocks.

Dog takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards. Dog is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight. Dog lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin. Crazy Dog is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Riley feints and then cracks Dog's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Dog down. Nice shot by Dog. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Crazy Dog will probably get the nod. That's time! Back to the action! This is the final round!

and Dog counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Riley thinking. Dog lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Dog stalks Riley and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Riley's face. Riley staggers backwards, shaken. Riley lands a high kick!

Dog shoots in and drives through. Riley sprawls well. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Crazy Dog. That's going to take a lot out of him. Riley throws a half hearted mid kick. Riley keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Riley lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. Riley throws a head kick that Dog semi-blocks.
Dog shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Dog showed some decent athleticism there. Riley is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Dog pulls his head out easily. Riley looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Dog wants to work for an arm triangle but Riley is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Dog lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

And that's the end of the fight! Tristian Riley comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Riley has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
