Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Lyota Machida!
The judges for this bout are Arvi Lind, Anni Minnemäki and Roosa Järviläinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Machida fails to land with a series of punches.
Barksdale throws a combination that misses
and Machida counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Barksdale keeping full guard, as Machida tries to pass.
Machida decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Barksdale, up you get!
Barksdale tries to clinch there but Machida circles away.
Machida shoots for a takedown but Barksdale saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Barksdale throws a combination that misses
and Machida counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Machida shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Machida showed some decent athleticism there.
Barksdale is looking to control Machida's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Barksdale avoid being mounted?
Barksdale landing small, sideways elbows.
Barksdale moves into full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Machida stands and steps away. Barksdale gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Barksdale drives through with a takedown into guard.
Barksdale is breathing heavily.
Machida has his foot on Barksdale's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Barksdale works his way back into a safe position though.
Machida pushes a forearm under Barksdale's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Barksdale is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
