PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Proto Type (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Smith (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Proto Type is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Proto Type!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, John Smith!
The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, James Atkins and Paul Tew.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smith leaves Type with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Type.
Smith tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Type was well out of range. Poor timing from Smith.
A punch combination from Type misses.
Smith throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Type stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Type shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Smith pinned against the cage. Smith gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Proto Type. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Smith takes a swing at Type's ribcage but misses.
Type misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Type is breathing heavily.
Smith fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Type on the side of the head.

Smith closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Smith wants to lay and pray for a moment but Type keeps working.

Smith decides to stand back up. Smith steps back and let's Type get back to his feet.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Smith throws a shot to the body.
Smith scores with a nice right hand.
Smith scores with a decent looking hook.
Smith lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Type at a distance.
A lazy left from Smith finds it's target.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Smith lands a jab.
Smith comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Smith moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.

Smith feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Type sprawling to the canvas! Type rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Smith finish him?!

Type is rocked!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Smith drops Type with a big left hand! Type is injured, injured bad! Smith jumps in and finished him with strikes! The fight is over!
