The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A looping hook to the body misses from Emmanuel. Stratton does a little dance to reset his feet.
Nice sprawl there from Emmanuel as Stratton shoots in.
Emmanuel with a poor takedown
and Stratton counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Emmanuel's guard now.
Emmanuel is looking for a triangle but Stratton pushes his legs off easily.
Stratton trying to stand up but can't free himself from Emmanuel's guard.
Stratton is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.

Stratton breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Emmanuel tries for a takedown but Stratton circles away easily
and Stratton counters with a shoot takedown. Emmanuel fights it but they end up in guard.

Stratton is trying to land a reversal but Emmanuel doesn't like that idea too much. He pushed the legs to the side and dives into side control. He's managed to grab a loose arm triangle. Emmanuel is tightening it up though! This could be trouble for Stratton! Stratton trying desperately to escape but he's gone limp! He's out! Wooooorld class Brazilian Jiu Jitsu from Emmanuel!
