Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Poppin Thangs (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Puppy Duke (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Thangs's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Poppin Them Thangs. Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Duke takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Duke shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Thangs pinned against the cage. Thangs gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Duke working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Thangs parries the strikes from Duke easily there. Duke is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Thangs to escape.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Duke, as that shot connected.

Thangs lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Thangs, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
