Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between yoshihiro kondo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brutus Baltazar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). kondo has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Kenichi Hosakawa and Hirohito Nitta.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
kondo drops his hands momentarily and Baltazar takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
kondo misses with a takedown attempt - Baltazar sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Baltazar looks to land a combination. kondo sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
It looks like yoshihiro kondo has been cut.
kondo tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Baltazar was well out of range. Poor timing from kondo.

Baltazar shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. kondo is trying to defend but Baltazar finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
kondo looks like he's trying to stand up.
Baltazar winds up and cracks kondo with a swinging punch to the side of the head.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
