The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Cecil Peabody and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Svenn misses with a body shot.
Wright misses with a series of wild punches.
Svenn throws a hook but Wright blocks it.
Svenn moves out of range of the body kick.
Svenn shoots in and drives through. Wright sprawls well.
Wright fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Svenn checks it well.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
A telegraphed right hand from Svenn misses the target.
Svenn lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Wright gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Wright tries to land a front kick but Svenn steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
No joy there for Wright, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Wright throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Svenn scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Svenn is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Wright looks calm but he's in trouble here. Svenn gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Wright is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Svenn lets go of the hold and Wright can pop his arm back in it's socket.
