11 - 6 - 0, fighting out of London, Aljo Stajerski! The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, James Ackerman and Chris Edwards.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! English slips under a jab from Stajerski. English throws a head kick that misses. Stajerski fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Stajerski doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Stajerski throws a lazy right hand but English sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Stajerski throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Stajerski is trying desperately to land a takedown but English is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Stajerski. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Stajerski wants to free his trapped foot but English is holding on for dear life with his legs.

That's one minute gone in the round. English is squirming around, avoiding Stajerski's attempts to control the action. Stajerski with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
Stajerski tries to control but English wriggling away. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. English reaches up to try and control the position but Stajerski seems to have an arm triangle now! Uh oh! English rolls and tries to escape and now Stajerski has his back!

A head kick misses from English. Stajerski walks into a straight right hand from English. English gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Stajerski to score an easy takedown into full guard. English wants to stand up but Stajerski is controlling him. Stajerski trying to control the position from guard on top but English is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

That's better than Stajerski was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Stajerski controlling from mount. Stajerski throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for English because Stajerski loaded up on that one. Stajerski with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.

Stajerski postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. English looks a forlorn figure.
