Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Cor Nepgen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Denis Kalashnikov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nepgen closes this distance looking for a takedown but Kalashnikov circles away. A nice leg kick lands there from Kalashnikov. Nepgen shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Nepgen is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. Kalashnikov wants to get back to his feet.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Nepgen uses his free foot to push down on Kalashnikov's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Kalashnikov. Nepgen can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Kalashnikov is looking to escape. Nepgen lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Kalashnikov is trying to stand. Kalashnikov really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Nepgen. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Nepgen scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish Kalashnikov?
That's one minute gone in the round. Nepgen controlling from mount. Kalashnikov is trying to get to the cage to help him get back to his feet.
Nepgen working Kalashnikov over with strikes here. Nepgen looking to control and managing it successfully. Kalashnikov really wants to buck Nepgen off and get back to his feet. Nepgen controlling from the full mount. Nepgen lands a heavy elbow.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Nepgen controlling the position easily from mount. The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Nepgen landing shots from mount. Nepgen controlling the pace for now. Nepgen has hold of Kalashnikov's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Kalashnikov manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Nepgen lands a nice shot to the head.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Nepgen won't let Kalashnikov get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now. Kalashnikov defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Nepgen. Nepgen is breathing heavily. Nepgen looking to control but Kalashnikov is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Nepgen has hold of Kalashnikov's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Kalashnikov manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Nepgen looking to secure an arm triangle but Kalashnikov defends it well. Kalashnikov wants to get back to his feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Nepgen looking to finish Kalashnikov with some ground and pound. This is bad for Kalashnikov! Nepgen working the ground and pound effectively.
Nepgen pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage. Nepgen content just to control the position here. Nepgen in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.
Nepgen trying to control but Kalashnikov is having none of it. Kalashnikov is trying to get back to his feet but can't. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Cor Nepgen dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Kalashnikov is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Kalashnikov tries to clinch but Nepgen is having none of it. Nepgen shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Kalashnikov's guard. Nepgen working some strikes from top position. Nepgen trying to control the position from guard on top but Kalashnikov is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Nepgen passes Kalashnikov's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Kalashnikov has hold of Nepgen's hands but Nepgen slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. Nepgen content to control rather than advance. Nepgen's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Nepgen lands a nice short elbow.
That's one minute gone in the round. Nepgen is keen to just control but Kalashnikov is a slippery customer. Nepgen not doing much here.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Cor Nepgen. Kalashnikov throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.

Nepgen shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Nepgen trying to control the action but Kalashnikov is working from the bottom. Kalashnikov pushes Nepgen off looking to stand but Nepgen dives back in and keeps control.
Nepgen passes the guard and advances to mount!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kalashnikov wants to try and get back to his feet. Cor Nepgen overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Nepgen is landing with some decent strikes but Kalashnikov is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue. Nepgen working Kalashnikov over with strikes here. Nepgen is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Kalashnikov can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Kalashnikov is rocked! Nepgen cracks Kalashnikov with a big head shot that has him covering up instantly! He's rolled onto his side and the referee has seen enough - this one is aaaaaaaaaaall over!
