Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Dan Bradley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ming Ong (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bradley's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Ride Of The Valkyries. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the ring.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 12 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Dan Bradley!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Ming Ong!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ong will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Ong scores with a hook to the body. Bradley takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.

Bradley slips a straight right by Ong.
Bradley looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Ong cracks Bradley with an open hand slap.
Ong connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Bradley takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Ming Ong seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Ong goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Bradley looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Ong bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Bradley's head backwards.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Ong is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Bradley is trying to control but can't.
Bradley is looking for a sweep. Ong is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Ong lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.

Ong is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Bradley is just riding it out for now. Ong eventually gives up the hold.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
Bradley misses with some strikes from the bottom.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Ong blocks the strikes from Bradley.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Ong misses with a wild body shot.
Ong throws a good cross that connects.
Ong shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Bradley counters with a nice uppercut.
Dan Bradley has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ming Ong.
Bradley is looking to clinch but Ong is avoiding it.
Bradley tries to score a power double leg takedown but Ong sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Bradley somewhat.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.


Bradley shoots in but Ong avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Ong closes this distance looking for a takedown but Bradley circles away.
Ong misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Ong fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

Bradley clinches with his opponent.
Ong swings wildly with an uppercut but Bradley uses good head movement to avoid it.

Bradley escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Ong closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Bradley did well to prevent Ong getting side control.

Ong is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Bradley doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Ong.
Ong takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
Bradley is looking to escape.

Ong looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
Bradley is looking to control Ong's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Bradley avoid being mounted?

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Bradley tries to roll over but Ong keeps him under control.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

Ong's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and Ong duly obliges.

Bradley gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Ong avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Ong passes into half guard.
Ong prevents Bradley from improving his position.

It looks like Ong is going to stand back up.
Bradley is looking to control Ong's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Bradley avoid being mounted?
Dan Bradley overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Bradley tries to push off, looking to stand up, but Ong manages to move to mount!

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Ming Ong comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Bradley has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
