Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, denis opal!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
6 - 10 - 0, fighting out of London, tombstone terry!
The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, Richard Clark and Colin Fotheringham.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
opal looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
opal frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
opal lands a big elbow.
opal controlling from the full mount.
opal trying to control but he's not successful this time.
That's one minute gone in the round.
terry tries to hold on but opal postures up.
opal looking for a guillotine from mount but terry is having none of it.
opal moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, terry has worked his arm free - good work by terry!
That's two minutes gone in the round.
A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
terry pushes opal away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, opal gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
Sloppy strikes there by opal.
terry is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but opal has just dragged him back down to the mat.
terry throws opal to one side and escapes!
opal closes this distance looking for a takedown but terry circles away.
terry shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with opal but opal pushes him off and we're back to square one.
tombstone terry seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

opal throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. terry was covering up waiting for the punch and opal finishes the takedown easily into guard.
opal stops terry from standing up.
opal trying to control the position from guard on top but terry is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

terry is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

terry looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

opal throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
opal keeps the fight on the outside.
terry gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and opal counters with a series of strikes. terry will be more careful next time no doubt.
terry shoots and misses
and opal counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
opal stalling away here and it's allowed terry to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard.
opal might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
terry wants to stand but opal is controlling the position.

opal looking to control the position here, rather than advance.

terry is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst opal is controlling him.
terry wants to sweep but no luck.
opal postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! terry is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of opal, into his guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
opal not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
terry won't allow opal to sweep him here.
opal working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from terry.
opal throwing strikes off his back to little effect.
opal is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

opal can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as terry controls the pace.
terry wants to control from the top but opal keeps moving.
terry trying to stand up but can't free himself from opal's guard.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Horrible takedown by opal or perhaps it was just good defense by terry which made him look bad.
opal shoots in for a double leg but terry sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
terry wants to clinch but opal slips to the side
and opal counters with a nice double leg into side control. terry won't be happy with that.
opal is looking to take a break and control but terry is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
terry controls the position for a moment.
terry bucks up and tries to throw opal off but instead opal has got his back!
opal is riding his opponent, not letting terry buck him off.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!
terry fails with the takedown.
opal wants to clinch up but terry keeps it at a distance.
terry takes the fight into the clinch.
terry is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. opal is defending well for now.
opal fails to pull the fight into his guard.
opal prevents the takedown attempt.
opal misses with a body punch.
terry throws a knee to the head but misses.
terry taking a breather.
opal jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as terry walks away with a smile on his face. opal gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
opal closes the distance but terry moves to the side
and terry counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.

opal throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! terry escapes and throws opal's legs to the side, diving into side control!
opal can't do much from the bottom here.
terry stands up and beckons opal to his feet.
opal lands with a thumping leg kick.
terry wants to clinch
and opal counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for terry!

opal can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as terry is looking to escape.
terry really wants to buck opal off and get back to his feet.
terry is working to get back to half guard.
opal controlling the pace for now.

terry is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.

opal is working for a guillotine from mount but terry frees his head quite easily.

I would just about give that final round to tombstone terry.
I think opal has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
