And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 14 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Trip Kenzie!
The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, Sam Margolis and Richard Clark.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Kenzie is looking for a kimura but Fury is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Kenzie to get the leverage.
Kenzie takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Fury has hold of Kenzie's hands but Kenzie slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Kenzie seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
Fury tries to kick Kenzie off but Kenzie keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.

Fury is staying active underneath Kenzie, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Trip Kenzie hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.

Kenzie shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Fury's guard.

Kenzie works over Fury's head and body with a nice combination.


It looks like Bryan Fury has been cut.
Kenzie misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Kenzie forces Fury back against the cage and clinches.

Fury tries to keep at a distance but Kenzie has taken the fight into the clinch.
Kenzie jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Fury walks away with a smile on his face. Kenzie gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Bryan Fury seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Fury is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Kenzie is defending well for now.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Kenzie does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

Well Kenzie has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
