Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between con clarky (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and jeb jobber (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). jeb jobber told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, con clarky!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
8 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, jeb jobber!
The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Chris Edwards and Steven Brown.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
jobber drives through and clinches with clarky against the cage.
jobber gets underhooks to prevent clarky's takedown attempt.
clarky has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Both fighters working to control the clinch.
jobber manages to break the clinch.
jobber throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. clarky tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. jobber is in clarky's guard.
jobber wanted to stand there but clarky had control of the position.
jobber postures up.
jobber throws a big right hand that misses.
jobber wants to control from the top but clarky keeps moving.
clarky looking for a sweep. Not yet clarky, not yet.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
jobber throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. clarky tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. jobber is in clarky's guard.

clarky really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
jobber decides to return to a standing position.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
jobber thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

jobber decides to stand back up. jobber steps back and let's clarky get back to his feet.
jobber gets in close and instigates a clinch.
jobber manages to break the clinch.
jobber fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. clarky sprawls well initially but jobber persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
jobber content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.
Let's hope that jobber has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

I looks like jobber might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

jobber shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. clarky is trying to defend but jobber finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
jobber bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
jobber is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt clarky will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.
clarky is trying to control jobber's posture but jobber avoids it.
jobber takes a little break here. clarky wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well.

The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
jeb jobber has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.
jobber changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. clarky looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
A lull in the action here as jobber stalls from top position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

jobber rushes clarky and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
jobber has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed clarky clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
jobber is riding his opponent, not letting clarky buck him off.

jobber is not going to allow clarky to sit and survive in this position.
jobber punishes clarky with strikes from the back mount.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

You know, I was talking to some of our celebrities at ringside tonight and they were split right down the middle on who was going to win this fight.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!

and jobber counters with a nice uppercut.

The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

jobber takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
clarky is working to get back to half guard.

jobber's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.

jobber stands up from mount. Strange move.
clarky closes the distance but jobber moves to the side
and jobber moves into the clinch.
con clarky has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
jeb jobber is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
jobber breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
And that's the end of the fight!
jeb jobber comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well jobber has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
