Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dirk Jalinski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shaq Oneil (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jalinski has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. Dirk Jalinski could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Shaq Oneil's chin.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are George Francis, Tiny Johnson and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Oneil fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Jalinski, pushing him back against the cage.
Oneil has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Jalinski clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
A bit of a pause in the action here. Oneil controlling the positon.
Oneil really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Jalinski. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Jalinski wants to control his opponent's hands but Oneil gets his hands free.
You know, I was talking to some of our celebrities at ringside tonight and they were split right down the middle on who was going to win this fight.
Oneil controlling well, preventing Jalinski from escaping the position.
So, who will make the next big move? In this position it could be crucial.
Oneil is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Jalinski knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Jalinski for a finish.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Oneil connects with a nice short shot to Jalinski's temple.
Oneil is taking a breather. Jalinski says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

and Oneil counters with a shoot takedown. Jalinski fights it but they end up in guard.
Oneil seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Jalinski is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Oneil stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Jalinski swivels though and keeps the full guard.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground.
Oneil lands with a slapping head kick.
It looks like Dirk Jalinski has been cut.
Oneil stuffs the takedown.
Jalinski shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Oneil as he jumps to the side.
Oneil shoots in and bounces Jalinski off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

That was a close second round but I would say that Dirk Jalinski will probably get the nod.

and Oneil counters with a nice double leg into side control. Jalinski won't be happy with that.
Oneil tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Oneil has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Oneil shoots in for a takedown. Oh, that's a huge slam! Jalinski is on queer street and Oneil is pounding down on him with a barage of strikes. The ref is forced to step in and stop the fight. Great finish!
