Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between EJ Dillo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Knuckle Sandwich (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, EJ Dillo! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Knuckle Sandwich! The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Cecil Peabody and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sandwich is looking to clinch. Dillo shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Dillo throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land. Sandwich tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Dillo paws at him with a jab and circles away. Sandwich scores with a hook. Sandwich fails with an attempt to clinch.
Dillo throws a body punch but Sandwich moves out of range. Dillo has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
It looks like EJ Dillo has been cut. Sandwich is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Knuckle Sandwich seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Sandwich.
This has been an exciting period of action! Sandwich tries to clinch there but Dillo circles away.
Dillo closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Sandwich did well to prevent Dillo getting side control. Sandwich wants to get back to full guard. Dillo misses with a head shot. Sandwich uses the momentum to regain guard. Dillo controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Dillo has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sandwich not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Dillo slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Sandwich is working an open guard so Dillo takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Sandwich fails in his attempt to clinch. Sandwich tries to clinch but Dillo is having none of it. Dillo fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Sandwich sprawls well initially but Dillo persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Dillo trying to control the pace. Sandwich has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Dillo is working away from the top position though. Dillo is figuring out what he wants to do next.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Sandwich gets full guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Dillo lands a couple of decent looking shots. Dillo controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Sandwich is looking to stand back up but Dillo counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Sandwich. Dillo passes to full mount! Dillo is breathing heavily. Dillo controlling the position easily from mount.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Sandwich can't escape the position.
Dillo lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning. Dillo content just to control the position here. Dillo is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Sandwich can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that EJ Dillo will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on EJ Dillo's cut. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Dillo shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Sandwich as he jumps to the side. Sandwich lands a jab to the nose. Dillo darts in and clinches Sandwich up against the cage. Both fighters working to control the clinch. Sandwich letting Dillo take a breather here. Dillo has hold of one of Sandwich's legs. Sandwich is fighting the takedown attempt but Dillo gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard. Dillo looking to pass the guard. Sandwich is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Dillo is controlling him. Sandwich not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
That's one minute gone in the round. Dillo gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Sandwich looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Dillo looks to land a combination. Sandwich sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots. A head kick misses from Sandwich. Dillo closes the distance and pushes Sandwich back into the cage. Dillo has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Sandwich avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Dillo decides to pull guard. Dillo wants to sweep here but Sandwich controlling him for the moment. Dillo looking to control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Dillo is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Sandwich is controlling him. Dillo on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Dillo tries to get out of the position. Sandwich won't allow Dillo to sweep him here. Sandwich wanted to stand there but Dillo had control of the position. Sandwich connects with a couple of short punches. Sandwich won't allow Dillo to sweep him here. The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Sandwich clinches but Dillo breaks the clinch and Dillo counters with a takedown into side control. Sandwich is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Dillo asserts his dominance and retains side control. Sandwich trying to remain calm as Dillo controls from the top position. Dillo decides to take the fight back to the feet. Knuckle Sandwich is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. A head kick from Sandwich lands but Dillo takes it in his stride. Sandwich tries to clinch but Dillo moves away and Dillo counters with a two punch combo.

Both guys are working to get underhooks. Sandwich seems frustrated at his inability to get double underhooks. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. The ref breaks the fighters up, due to lack of action by Knuckle Sandwich. Sandwich tries to clinch but Dillo is having none of it. Dillo shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Sandwich as he avoids it easily. This has been an exciting period of action! Sandwich darts in trying to clinch and Dillo counters into the clinch. Nicely done. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
EJ Dillo dominated that second round. The cut man is working on EJ Dillo's cut. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

You can't force these things though and Sandwich defends well. Both fighters are breathing heavily.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Sandwich is looking to stand up but Dillo won't let him. Sandwich really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Dillo. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Dillo is on top in guard.
Dillo stops Sandwich from standing up. Dillo pushing down on Sandwich's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. Dillo decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up. A combination from Sandwich does no damage. Sandwich cracks Dillo with a good jab.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Dillo throws out a powerful jab. Dillo circles away from the clinch attempt and Dillo counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Sandwich moves in looking to clinch but Dillo pushes him off. Dillo takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Dillo clinches up with Sandwich and pushes him back against the cage. Dillo blocks an elbow strike. Dillo works on Sandwich's body with a couple of short punches. Sandwich wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

Sandwich is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath. Dillo jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Sandwich walks away with a smile on his face. Dillo gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Sandwich clinches but Dillo breaks the clinch and Dillo counters with a takedown into side control. Dillo wants to control but Sandwich is keeping him busy. Dillo lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Sandwich down.
Knuckle Sandwich has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Dillo happy to just control the position for now. Sandwich avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Dillo.
And that's the end of the fight! EJ Dillo showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Dillo, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
