Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Junior Spivey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Renda Trimm (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Junior Spivey! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Renda Trimm! The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Frank Antenori and .
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Trimm wants to clinch up but Spivey keeps it at a distance. Spivey misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Trimm.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Spivey. Trimm closes the distance and clinches. Trimm breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Spivey clinches but Trimm breaks the clinch and Trimm counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Spivey looking to control.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Spivey is on top in guard.
Spivey trying to control the position from guard on top but Trimm is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Trimm really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Spivey. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Spivey tries to free his leg and advance position but Trimm is retaining full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Spivey is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. Trimm pulls Spivey in close to prevent any damage. Trimm wants to stand but Spivey is controlling the position. Spivey is fighting to break Trimm's control of his arms but Trimm is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment. Trimm is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Spivey trying to control but Trimm is working from the bottom.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Trimm trying to control the position.
Spivey won't allow Trimm to get back to his feet.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Spivey pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Trimm rushes Spivey and presses him up against the cage. Trimm is working for takedown but Spivey is calmly controlling the position for now. Trimm drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Trimm looks gassed!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Trimm has hold of one of Spivey's legs. Spivey is fighting the takedown attempt but Trimm gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard. Spivey controls Trimm momentarily but Trimm frees himself. Trimm won't allow Spivey to get back to his feet. Spivey is trying to control the position but Trimm postures up. Spivey wants to stand up but Trimm is controlling him.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Spivey not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Trimm prevents Spivey from getting back to his feet. Trimm not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Spivey wants to get back to his feet but Trimm is in a dominant position and won't allow it. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Renda Trimm dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Trimm shoots in but no luck this time. Spivey lands with a thumping leg kick.
Spivey tries to clinch but Trimm moves away and Trimm counters with a stiff right hand. Spivey scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one. Spivey tries for a takedown but Trimm circles away easily and Trimm counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Spivey stops a takedown attempt from Trimm.
Spivey throws an elbow but it's blocked.
Trimm presses Spivey against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot. Spivey tries to circle away but Trimm has him pinned against the cage. Trimm manages to break the clinch.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Spivey misses with a double jab
and Trimm connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
That's one minute gone in the round. Trimm changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Spivey tries to avoid it but Trimm manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Spivey to the ground. Spivey escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Junior Spivey has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Renda Trimm. Trimm fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Spivey, pushing him back against the cage. A right hand to the body from Spivey.
Spivey keeps control of Trimm as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Spivey wants to get back to striking at distance but Trimm won't allow it.
Spivey tries to break the clinch but Trimm is controlling the position. Trimm lands a body shot. Spivey can't break the clinch.
Trimm pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Spivey moves in looking to clinch but Trimm pushes him off. Spivey doesn't succeed with the takedown and Trimm counters by clinching up. A frustrated look appears on Spivey's face as he tries to break the clinch.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Trimm jumps guard and drags Spivey to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. Spivey trying to control but Trimm is working from the bottom. Trimm utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Spivey pushes down on Trimm's leg and manages to get into half guard. Trimm wants to control but Spivey is keeping busy.
Trimm tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Spivey seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Trimm trying to control but Spivey postures up.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Spivey lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Spivey gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Trimm. Spivey looks for a takedown but Trimm sprawls well. Trimm closes the distance and pushes Spivey back into the cage.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Trimm manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back. Spivey trying to control but Trimm is working from the bottom. Spivey throwing strikes but missing. Trimm is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Spivey is controlling him. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Spivey trying to control the position from guard on top but Trimm is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but Renda Trimm will probably get the nod - 10:9. That's time! Back to the action! This is the final round!

Trimm tries to clinch but fails miserably and Spivey counters with a three punch combo that has Trimm backing up. Trimm nods at Spivey to acknowledge the strikes. Trimm clinches up with Spivey and pushes him back against the cage. Spivey takes an elbow to the forehead. Trimm breaks the clinch.
Trimm stuffs the takedown attempt from Spivey. Spivey gets slowly back to his feet. Trimm forces Spivey back against the cage and clinches. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Trimm tries to pull guard but Spivey won't allow it.
Trimm stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.
That's one minute gone in the round. Spivey gets underhooks to prevent Trimm's takedown attempt.
Trimm lands a hook that snaps the head of Spivey backwards. The referee is keeping an eye on Trimm - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
Trimm throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges. Trimm pulls guard effortlessly. Spivey postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Spivey showing good wrestling skills to control the position. Spivey trying to control but Trimm is working from the bottom.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Trimm can do anything to dispel that myth. Spivey prevents Trimm from getting back to his feet. Trimm keeping moving, preventing Spivey from controlling successfully. Trimm pulls Spivey in to control the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Trimm circles away from the clinch attempt and Trimm moves into the clinch. Trimm ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Trimm no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. Spivey trying to control the position from guard on top but Trimm is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Trimm wants to stand and escape but Spivey is having none of it.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Trimm controls Spivey momentarily but Spivey frees himself. Spivey scoring with some ground and pound. Trimm looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Spivey puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard. Trimm looking for submissions from an awkward position here. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Trimm is staying active underneath Spivey, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
And that's the end of the fight! Renda Trimm comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Trimm winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
