And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Bautista gets a takedown into half guard.
Bautista keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action.
Bautista should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Pounder is trying to get back to full guard.
Pounder blocking the ground and pound attempt from Bautista.
Bautista throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Bautista has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Bautista is just content to waste time from the top position. Pounder takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard.

Bautista takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Pounder is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Bautista is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

Bautista throws some wild stikes that Pounder manages to avoid easily.
Pounder is looking to improve his position but Bautista isn't that keen on the idea.
Pounder is squirming around, avoiding Bautista's attempts to control the action.
Bautista is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Pounder can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Pounder tries to lock up and control but Bautista gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Bautista lands a big shot there that rocks Pounder but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.

Bautista lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
Bautista controlling the position easily from mount.
Pounder wants to hold on but Bautista pushes him away.
Bautista controlling the pace for now.
Bautista has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Pounder's face.
Pounder has given up his back here.
Pounder trying to control the action but Bautista just sinks the hooks in.

The crowd hopeful of a finish here - Bautista's supporters are on their feet, screaming for him to go for the rear naked choke.
Bautista might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Pounder kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

Bautista has the hooks in and he's looking for a rear naked choke here. Pounder is defending well but eventually Bautista manages to get an arm under the chin and he's locked on the RNC! Pounder has no choice but to tap now! He does! This one is all over!
