Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sammy Hagen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Juliano Marquez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Marquez has chosen Mean Mug as his entrance music. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No luck for Marquez with that takedown attempt.
Marquez clobbers Hagen with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Hagen fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Marquez avoids it really well and circles away.

and Marquez counters with a crisp one two that drops Hagen! Marquez thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Hagen to his feet! Hagen is in big trouble!

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Hagen circles away from the clinch attempt.
Hagen throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Marquez tries to close the distance and clinch up but Hagen swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Marquez has his foot on Hagen's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Hagen works his way back into a safe position though.
Hagen will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Hagen is nestled in close to Marquez, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Hagen connects with a nice short shot to Marquez's temple.
