Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Kryler Crimson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and EJ Tap (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tap has chosen Pop Lock and Drop It as his entrance music. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are William Peck, Dillan Fox and Yves DeLean.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tap tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Tap staying out of range there.
Tap misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Crimson.
Tap throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Crimson's waist but Crimson gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Tap off to one side.
Tap takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Crimson swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Crimson misses with a body shot.
Crimson uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Tap.
Crimson cracks Tap with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
It looks like EJ Tap has been cut.
Tap walks into a jab.
Crimson thows a body shot but no joy.
Kryler Crimson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Crimson misses the shot to the body.
Tap uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Crimson.
Crimson moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.

Tap moves out of range as Crimson strikes.
Tap looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Crimson thows a body shot but no joy.

Crimson throws a body punch but Tap moves out of range.
Tap will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Kryler Crimson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of EJ Tap.
Crimson throws a jab but it's blocked by Tap.

That has opened up EJ Tap's cut even more.

Tap gets the takedown into side control.
Tap looks gassed!
Crimson is looking to reverse the position.
Crimson wants to get back to his feet but Tap drags him back down.
Tap sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Crimson is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
Tap tries to move into full mount but can't pass Crimson's legs.
Crimson tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Tap wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

Tap working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Crimson scores with a hook to the body. Tap takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Crimson connects with a jab.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Crimson drops Tap with a beautiful combination! Tap stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Crimson is looking for the KO!

Crimson tries to bum rush Tap with a series of wild strikes but Tap uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Crimson looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Crimson misses with a body punch
and Tap counters with a stiff right hand.
Tap shoots in and drives through. Crimson sprawls well.
Tap moves out of range as Crimson throws a body kick.
Crimson blocks a jab.
The fighters circle momentarily. Crimson darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
The cut above EJ Tap's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Crimson tests Tap's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Crimson throws a right and a left that both miss.
Crimson throws a right hand that Tap ducks under and follows up with a left that Tap also avoids with ease.
Tap tries to score a power double leg takedown but Crimson sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Tap somewhat.
Crimson stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Crimson wants it to stay on the feet.
The fighters circle momentarily. Crimson darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

Tap uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Crimson.
Tap misses with a combination
and Crimson counters with a one-two to the body.
EJ Tap's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at EJ Tap's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:19 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Kryler Crimson!
