Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Chris Benoit (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Panda Bare (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Benoit comes into the arena with Whatever - Our Lady Peace blaring out of the sound system. Bare has chosen Ashes of the Wake as his entrance music. Panda Bare has the eye of the tiger tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
9 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Chris Benoit!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
10 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Panda Bare!
The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Trevor Gratis and Elvis Blanc.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bare misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Panda Bare seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Benoit moves out of range of the strikes.
Bare ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Nice cross by Bare.
Bare stuffs the takedown attempt from Benoit. Benoit gets slowly back to his feet.
A jab from Bare finds it's way through Benoit's defenses.
Benoit fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Bare avoids it really well and circles away.
Benoit throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Bare tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Benoit was well out of range. Poor timing from Bare.
Benoit has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Benoit there as he acknowledges the shot.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Bare thows a left - swing and a miss!
Bare thuds his right hand into Benoit's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Bare lands with a good body shot.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Jab, jab by Bare - just one landing.
Bare cracks Benoit with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Bare has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Benoit to stand back up!
It looks like Chris Benoit has been cut.
Bare fires a straight punch through the middle that cracks Benoit square on the jaw! Damn, Benoit is out cold on his feet and topples face first to the canvas! Wow, I haven't seen a knockout that brutal in a long time!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:17 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Panda Bare!
