The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
St pierre throws a nice looking combination but Resparzo bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Resparzo comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
A punch combination from Resparzo misses.
Resparzo cracks St pierre with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
St pierre falls off balance throwing a combination
and Resparzo counters with a right hand to the body.
St pierre takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.

St pierre takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Nice straight punches there by Resparzo. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Resparzo.
Resparzo lands a nice hook to St pierre's body. St pierre takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
EJ Resparzo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Resparzo scores with a sloppy right hand. St pierre should have avoided that one.
