The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Pee stuffs the takedown attempt from Nakatani. Nakatani gets slowly back to his feet. Pee tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Dung Pee seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Nakatani has a takedown stuffed. Pee throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Nakatani's head. Pee gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Pee managing to control the position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Pee will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.
Nakatani has gone for a leg lock! Pee slips out almost immediately though and dives into Nakatani's guard. Nakatani looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.

That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Takehide Nakatani. That's going to take a lot out of him. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Pee scores with a crisp jab that stopped Nakatani in his tracks. Nakatani feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. The fighters roll with the hold and Pee manages to kick Nakatani off! Nakatani jumps back into Pee's guard. Nakatani drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Pee dives on top into guard. Pee trying to stand up but can't free himself from Nakatani's guard. Nakatani had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Pee defends it easily. Pee got a little sloppy there for a moment and Nakatani has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Pee has managed to get both his arms back between Nakatani's legs - danger averted. Nakatani tries to land a sweep but no joy. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Nakatani is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Pee defends well. Nakatani has an active guard here but Pee has managed to pass into half guard.
Pee tries to stand but can't do so whilst Nakatani controls his leg. Nakatani looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Nakatani makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Nakatani.

He's thrown up his legs looking for a tringle but Pee frees his head nicely. Oh but Nakatani has switched to an armbar! Pee is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
