The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

It looks like Cary Thompson has been cut.
BJ Becks seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Becks avoids the head kick by Thompson.
Becks misses with a low kick.

Becks drops Thompson with a right and a left! Becks comes rushing in but Thompson regains his composure and manages to keep Becks in guard.

Becks throws a series of punches but Thompson avoids them all with ease.

Thompson lands a left and a right that send Becks crashing to the mat, dazed. Thompson thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Thompson uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Becks.
Becks is still on wobbly legs! Can Thompson finish him?
Thompson throws a sloppy head kick and Becks moves out of range easily.
Look low, kick high! Thompson uses the oldest trick in the book to send Becks tumbling to the canvas, in a truly brutal knockout! Thompson is absolutely delighted - when Becks wakes up, I doubt he'll be quite so happy!
