Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rikard Norling (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Slick Ubber (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Norling comes to the cage accompanied by IN FLAMES - Cloud Connected . Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Rikard Norling!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Slick Ubber!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Norling closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Ubber to the mat! Ubber manages to get full guard.
Ubber has control of Norling's left arm, preventing Norling from doing any damage.
Ubber is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Ubber is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.

Norling drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Ubber dives on top into guard.
Ubber wants to stand but Norling has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

Ubber trying to control the position from guard on top but Norling is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Ubber wants to stand but Norling is controlling his posture from full guard.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Ubber closes the distance and pushes Norling back into the cage.

Ubber breaks from the clinch.
Norling misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Norling has a takedown stuffed.
Norling connects with a body shot.
Ubber avoids a punch combination nicely.
Ubber tries a head kick but it misses.

Ubber displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Norling throws out the jab.
Norling shoots in and drives through. Ubber sprawls well.
Ubber scores with a spinning back kick!
Ubber lands with a slapping head kick.
Ubber looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Norling looks for a takedown but Ubber sprawls well.

Ubber will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Ubber shoots for a double leg takedown but Norling sprawls well. He's pushed Ubber's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Ubber shoots in but no luck this time.
Ubber throws a nice inside leg kick.
Norling shoots in and drives through. Ubber sprawls well.

Ubber moves into range and clinches up with Norling.

Ubber lands an elbow inside that Norling shrugs off.

Ubber breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Norling throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Norling tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Ubber swivels and escapes.
Norling is breathing heavily.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Ubber uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Norling.
Ubber lands a nice looking body kick.
Ubber throws a mid kick that lands with a slap.

Ubber looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Ubber wants to lay and pray for a moment but Norling keeps working.
Ubber is taking a breather. Norling says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Ubber missing with the ground and pound from half guard.
Ubber is trying to control the action in half guard but Norling is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

Ubber postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Norling to stand up.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Ubber wants to clinch.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Slick Ubber dominated that round.
That's time! Back to the action!


Ubber looks for a takedown but Norling sprawls well.
Norling shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Ubber sprawls well. Ubber wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Norling gets slowly back to his feet.
Ubber tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Norling bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Norling sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Ubber is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
Ubber defending against the ground and pound.

Norling looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.

Ubber wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done!
Norling tries to move to mount but Ubber blocks the move with his legs.

Norling is trying to get an arm triangle but Ubber is defending well.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Ubber staying out of range there.
Norling keeps the fight on the outside.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Norling crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Ubber - the referee stops the clock and Norling gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Ubber. Norling manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Ubber lands with a nice body kick.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Ubber drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.

Ubber decides to stand back up.
Norling shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Ubber as he jumps to the side.
Ubber is looking to slow Norling down with leg kicks.
A decent looking body kick lands there for Ubber.
Ubber changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Norling tries to avoid it but Ubber manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Norling to the ground. Norling escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Norling throws a lazy right hand but Ubber sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Ubber throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.

Ubber closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Norling to the mat! Norling manages to get full guard.
Ubber is looking to stand up but Norling won't let him.

Norling wants to get back to his feet but Ubber is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Ubber is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Norling is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

and Ubber makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Norling really felt that one!

Norling has his hands on Ubber's head, controlling the position.
Ubber wants to control from the top but Norling keeps moving.

Slick Ubber showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!

The fighters circling - Norling throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Norling slips a jab and a cross from Ubber.

Ubber breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Norling looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Ubber thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Norling if he has to take too many more of those.
Norling throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Norling fails to land with a series of punches.
Norling shoots in looking for a takedown. Ubber tries to sprawl out of it but Norling keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Ubber manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Norling has his takedown stuffed
and Ubber counters with a nice low kick that buckles Norling's knee momentarily.

Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Ubber stuffs the takedown.
Norling takes a kick to the side of the head.
Ubber lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Norling backs up against the cage.

Ubber looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.

Ubber is trying to work for a kimura but Norling is defending well.

Norling is refusing to be controlled, as Ubber sits in half guard.
It looks like Ubber is going to stand back up.

Ubber stands up and beckons Norling to join him on the feet.
Norling swings and misses with a hook to the body.

Ubber shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.

Norling looking for a guillotine here but Ubber defends easily.

Ubber stands up and waves to Norling to follow him.

Ubber plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!
A head kick misses from Ubber.

Norling feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Ubber has Norling pulled in close to control his posture.
Ubber avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Ubber working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Norling.
Rikard Norling has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Norling stays in close to Ubber's body and controls the position.
Slick Ubber is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Norling takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Norling fails to land the takedown.
Ubber connects with a solid leg kick.
Norling throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Ubber stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Norling throws a left and a right that both miss
and Ubber counters with a nice kick to the body.
Norling shoots for a takedown but Ubber saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

And that's the end of the fight!
Slick Ubber comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Ubber has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
