The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ohoolihan clinches with his opponent.

Shabadoo throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Ohoolihan's waist but Ohoolihan gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Shabadoo off to one side.

Shabadoo manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

You get the feeling that Ohoolihan really doesn't like being in this position too much.

Shabadoo goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Ohoolihan turns into him and now he's in Shabadoo's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Ohoolihan wanted to stand there but Shabadoo had control of the position.
Shabadoo looking to hit a scissor sweep but Ohoolihan is one step ahead there.
Shabadoo had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Ohoolihan is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Shabadoo Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Ohoolihan's back instead.
Shabadoo misses with a punch to the head.

Shabadoo shoots in and drives through. Ohoolihan sprawls well.
Ohoolihan swats away the attempt to clinch by Shabadoo.
Shabadoo shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Shabadoo was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
