Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Diablo Sanchez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mike Johnss (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mike Johnss will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Diablo Sanchez! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Mike Johnss! The judges for this bout are Winston Howard, Bruno Hogan and John Mangel.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sanchez shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Johnss pinned against the cage. Johnss gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Sanchez throws the left hand but Johnss avoids the punch easily. Johnss doesn't manage to clinch there - Sanchez circles away.

Sanchez bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Johnss is rocked! Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Sanchez connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Johnss some visible discomfort.
Johnss is still in real trouble! Can Sanchez finish him? Sanchez works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head. Sanchez in side control lands a decent elbow. Johnss is looking to regain half guard here but Sanchez keeps moving and retains side control. Sanchez lands a nice forearm strike. Sanchez lands a few punches from side control. Johnss is positioning himself to get back to half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Sanchez cracks Johnss with an elbow. That is naaassty.

Johnss really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Sanchez. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Johnss is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Johnss takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head. Sanchez lands a few punches from side control. Johnss tries to get back to half guard but can't. Sanchez scores with punches from side control. Sanchez lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Johnss down.

He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Sanchez pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. The referee warns Johnss that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.

Johnss is desperately trying to improve his position but Sanchez has a good base and remains in mount. Sanchez looking to finish Johnss with some ground and pound. This is bad for Johnss!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Johnss swinging wildly from the bottom but he's not landing. Sanchez in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.
Sanchez unloads with some vicious shots from mount and Johnss wants out - he looks towards the referee who steps in to save him! Sanchez celebrates on the cage and the crowd goes wild!
