Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Kevin Garnett (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tommy Pulver (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Kevin Garnett! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Tommy Pulver! The judges for this bout are Donatello Bradman, John Mangel and Hugh Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Pulver moves into the clinch. Garnett tries to circle away but Pulver has him pinned against the cage. Garnett tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Pulver just stands there and leans against the cage. Pulver changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Garnett fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Pulver scores to the head and body with a nice combination! Pulver looks for the body kick but Garnett saw that one coming. Garnett wants to clinch but Pulver slips to the side and Pulver counters with a single leg into guard. Garnett didn't expect that. Pulver drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Pulver jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Garnett being controlled here, momentarily. Pulver wants to pass the guard but Garnett is keeping the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Pulver is working Garnett over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Pulver has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Pulver stands and throws Garnett's legs to the side, diving into side control. Garnett strikes from the bottom but Pulver takes advantage and advances to full mount! Garnett knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Pulver on the ground. Pulver working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet. Pulver looking to control and managing it successfully. Pulver looks gassed! Garnett regains half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Pulver is working for a kimura but Garnett is defending it quite comfortably.
Garnett looks like he's trying to stand up.
Pulver seems to be looking for submissions.
Pulver looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Garnett wants to control but Pulver passes into side.
Pulver tries for a kimura but Garnett is defending well. Pulver looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Pulver wants to lay and pray for a moment but Garnett keeps working. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Pulver is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Garnett is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Pulver has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Garnett! Garnett tries to buck Pulver off but he can't manage it. Garnett tries to hold on but Pulver postures up. Pulver goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Garnett turns into him and now he's in Pulver's guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Tommy Pulver dominated that round. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!
Garnett with a poor takedown and Pulver counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Garnett's guard now. Garnett really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Garnett is trying to hold Pulver in close to prevent damage but Pulver has managed to pass into half guard.
Pulver is looking for a kimura but Garnett is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Pulver to get the leverage. Pulver is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Pulver lands with a punch from half guard. Pulver decides to stand and escape the position. Garnett with a poor takedown and Pulver counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Well, if Pulver is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Pulver missing with the ground and pound from half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Garnett is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Pulver pulls his head out easily. Garnett has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Pulver is working away from the top position though. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Pulver not doing much here.
Garnett is defending against the submission attempts here by Pulver.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Pulver has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Garnett defend it? Pulver steps over the head and cranks it - Garnett is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Pulver!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:26 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Tommy Pulver!
