Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jin Tiger! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Chris Fisher! The judges for this bout are Winston Howard, Donatello Bradman and Damien Edna.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Fisher misses with a two punch combination.
Tiger looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this! A punch combination from Fisher misses. Fisher moves out of range of the body kick from Tiger.
Fisher misses with a head kick.
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Fisher!
Fisher connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Tiger is rocked! Fisher misses with a two punch combination.
Tiger fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Fisher manages to avoid it. Nice straight punches there by Tiger. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Tiger. A punch combination from Fisher misses. Tiger closes this distance looking for a takedown but Fisher circles away. Fisher throws a head kick that misses. Tiger dodges the punch combination from Fisher.
Tiger rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Fisher moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Fisher swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
so Tiger counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Tiger stopping the sweep attempt from Fisher. Fisher throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Tiger is looking to stand up but Fisher won't let him.
That's one minute gone in the round. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Fisher is on top in guard.
Fisher trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Fisher thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Tiger is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Fisher is controlling him. Fisher trying to control the position from guard on top but Tiger is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Tiger might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Fisher forces his way into half guard. Fisher is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Tiger defends it well. Tiger wants to get back to his feet. Fisher is trying to control the action in half guard but Tiger is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Tiger trying to control here.
Fisher in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Tiger tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Fisher!
