The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
ahr feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Ivanov looking to control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Ivanov is looking for a triangle here but ahr uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.
ahr stands up and we're back to a striking position.
Ivanov stuffs the takedown.
Ivanov lands with a nice combination. ahr backs away looking to recover.
It looks like serenity ahr has been cut.
A looping hook to the body misses from Ivanov. ahr does a little dance to reset his feet.

ahr is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
ahr throws a head kick that misses.
Ivanov with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.

ahr gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
ahr looks gassed!
ahr tries for a takedown but Ivanov sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Ivanov misses with a double jab.
Ivanov throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
Ivanov lands a high kick!
Ivanov lands a nice looking body kick.

Ivanov lands a nice looking kick to the body. ahr takes a step back to recover.
The fighters circle, before Ivanov throws a beautiful high kick that crashes into ahr's neck, sending him stumbling to the floor! Ivanov lands more strikes and forces a referee stoppage! That one ended in an instant!
