The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cruncher shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Cruncher showed some decent athleticism there.
Cruncher wants to pass to mount but Kumpulainen is defending the position.
Cruncher seems to be working for a kimura but Kumpulainen defends the submission attempt.

Kumpulainen is looking to control Cruncher's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Kumpulainen avoid being mounted?

Kumpulainen wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Cruncher, who protects the arm well.
Kumpulainen has an Americana. Cruncher didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Kumpulainen is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Kumpulainen hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
