Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Jonny Stevens (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Aleksander Keller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Jonny Stevens! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Aleksander Keller! The judges for this bout are Anni Minnemäki, Arvi Lind and Matti Vanhoillinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Keller has a takedown stuffed. Keller fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Stevens avoids it really well and circles away. Stevens shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Keller's guard. Stevens postures up.
Keller is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Keller keeping moving, preventing Stevens from controlling successfully. Keller is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Keller wants to stand but Stevens is controlling the position. Keller looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
That's one minute gone in the round. Stevens is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Keller bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Stevens's guard. Keller has gone for a leg lock! Stevens slips out almost immediately though and dives into Keller's guard. Stevens is breathing heavily. Stevens controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Keller preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Keller is trying to keep Stevens in close.
Stevens looking to sit in guard and control but Keller gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Keller wants to pass the guard but Stevens is keeping the position. Stevens bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Keller's guard. Keller wants to sweep here but Stevens controlling him for the moment.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Keller is trying to keep Stevens in close.

That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Keller is looking to stall here but Stevens recovers full guard. Keller stopping the sweep attempt from Stevens. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Jonny Stevens will probably get the nod. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Stevens closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Keller gets back to half guard. Keller trying to control here.
Stevens thows a big elbow that misses, also allowing Keller to regain full guard. Keller wants to stand and escape but Stevens is having none of it. Keller not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Keller trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from! Stevens tries to free his leg and advance position but Keller is retaining full guard. Stevens trying to control the position from guard on top but Keller is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's one minute gone in the round. Stevens trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Keller is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Stevens tries to clinch but Keller is having none of it. Jonny Stevens seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Stevens swats away the attempt to clinch by Keller. Keller connects with a high kick. Keller lands with a shot to the body. Keller tries to clinch there but Stevens circles away.

Keller has his takedown stuffed and Stevens counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Stevens. Keller drops down looking for an ankle pick but Stevens pulls his leg out and moves away.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Horrible takedown by Keller or perhaps it was just good defense by Stevens which made him look bad. Jonny Stevens has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Aleksander Keller. Stevens darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Keller is looking to control Stevens's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Keller avoid being mounted? Stevens is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.

Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Stevens in particular looking to stall. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Stevens is trying to control. Keller wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Stevens thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Keller's head. Stevens wants to lay and pray for a moment but Keller keeps working.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Keller throws a nice outside leg kick. Keller fails with the takedown and Stevens decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Keller's guard. Keller is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Keller wants to stand up but Stevens is controlling him. Stevens wants to control from the top but Keller keeps moving. Keller has his foot on Stevens's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Stevens works his way back into a safe position though. Stevens controls from within his opponent's guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jonny Stevens dominated that second round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Stevens. Keller with a lazy takedown attempt and Stevens counters with a shoot takedown. Keller fights it but they end up in guard. Jonny Stevens overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Stevens wants to control from the top but Keller keeps moving. Keller trying to control the position.

Stevens missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Keller has control of Stevens's left arm, preventing Stevens from doing any damage. That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Stevens is working Keller over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Stevens trying to control but Keller is working from the bottom. Stevens might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Keller tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Keller looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Stevens is fending him off so far but Keller persists. Nope, Stevens circles away and we're back to standing. Stevens changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Keller looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Keller is looking for a sweep. Stevens works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head. Keller manages to work his way to half guard, despite Stevens's best efforts. Keller tries to get to full guard but Stevens has control of the leg. Aleksander Keller has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Keller is looking to control Stevens's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Keller avoid being mounted? Stevens is looking to advance position but Keller won't allow it. Stevens is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Keller doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Stevens. Stevens lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Keller is concentrating on defense, preventing Stevens from advancing position. Keller trying to hold on to Stevens's head to control him but Stevens postures up.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.

Keller fails with the takedown and Stevens counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Jonny Stevens has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Aleksander Keller. Stevens stays in close to Keller's body and controls the position. Stevens trying to control but Keller is working from the bottom.
And that's the end of the fight! Jonny Stevens showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Stevens, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
