Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Simon Cole (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jacob Williams (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Simon Cole! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jacob Williams! The judges for this bout are William Peck, Elvis Blanc and Ian Loll.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Cole shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Williams napping and manages to drive through into side control! Williams tries to escape but Cole is in control. Williams throws his opponent off and manages to get back to his feet! Nicely done! Williams gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Williams kicks Cole off and gets to his feet. Cole closes the distance and pushes Williams back into the cage. Williams is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Cole gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. Williams is working for takedown but Cole is calmly controlling the position for now. Williams goes for a takedown in the clinch but Cole prevents it.
Simon Cole has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jacob Williams. Williams has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Cole avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round. Williams tries for a takedown but Cole manages to get underhooks.
Cole has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Williams regains guard immediately. Williams is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Cole advances position into side control! Williams is pushing Cole's head away, looking to escape. Cole manages to hold on to the position though.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Cole wants to control but Williams is keeping him busy. Williams pushes Cole away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Cole gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control. Williams is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first. Williams is looking to get back to his feet here but Cole is keeping cool and he's managed to take Williams's back. Williams holding both Cole 's hands and preventing any damage. Williams staying busy and making it hard for Cole to control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Williams holding both Cole 's hands and preventing any damage. Cole is persistently looking for the submission but Williams is defending it well.
Williams is trying to get back to his feet but Cole has full control of the position and if anything, Williams has just worked his way into a worse spot.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Cole looking to break Williams's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. Williams remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Cole will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke! A lull in the action here.
Williams holding both Cole 's hands and preventing any damage. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Simon Cole dominated that round. That's time! Cole's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Williams misses with a takedown attempt and Cole counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Cole. Cole stops Williams from standing up. Cole trying to control the position from guard on top but Williams is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Cole is standing up over Williams. Williams looks to escape but Cole dives into side control.
Williams bucks up and manages to escape back to his feet! Williams with a lazy takedown attempt and Cole counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Cole looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Williams tries to kick Cole off in order to stand up. Cole Avoids the leg push though and dives into side control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Williams is looking to get back to his feet here but Cole is keeping cool and he's managed to take Williams's back. Williams controlling the position well but he knows he's in a bad position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Cole is looking to control Williams but Williams is wriggling around and keeping busy. Williams has the hand control, trying to stop the rear naked choke.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Williams is squirming around looking to escape but he's just wriggling himself into more trouble. Cole sinks in the hooks and manages to tighten his grip on a rear naked choke. Williams has no choice but to tap and Cole jumps to his feet to celebrate and slick submission win!
