Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between A Train (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jimmy McNasty (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, A Train!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Jimmy McNasty!
The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Daniel Bishop and Andrew Berry.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Train looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
McNasty controlling Train's posture.

Train has gone for a leg lock! McNasty slips out almost immediately though and dives into Train's guard.
Train keeping moving, preventing McNasty from controlling successfully.
McNasty wants to stand and escape but instead Train has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.
Train won't allow McNasty to sweep him here.
Train will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Train wanted to stand there but McNasty had control of the position.

McNasty is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
McNasty pulls Train in close to prevent any damage.
McNasty not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

Train drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Train jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
McNasty pulls Train in close to his closed guard and prevents Train from doing any damage or advancing position.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Trainis looking to pass into half guard but McNasty pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now McNasty is in guard.

Train working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. McNasty doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. McNasty manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
McNasty looking to control the position here, rather than advance.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Train pushes a forearm under McNasty's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, McNasty is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:26 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). A Train!
