PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between jamece pimentel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Reggie Hut (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). pimentel has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hut tries to clinch up but pimentel circles away and keeps his distance.
Hut looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
pimentel fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

Hut jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as pimentel walks away with a smile on his face. Hut gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Hut pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Hut looks to land a combination but pimentel avoids it well.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with pimentel in particular looking to stall.

Reggie Hut seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
pimentel is staying active underneath Hut, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

Hut decides to stand and escape the position.
Hut throws a series of punches but pimentel moves out of range.

pimentel changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Hut tries to avoid it but pimentel manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Hut to the ground. Hut escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Hut has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of pimentel's face.
