Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Techno Viking (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dustin Smash (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Alec Ball and Yves DeLean.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Viking shoots in and bounces Smash off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Smash scrambles and gets back to his feet.
Smash with a lazy takedown attempt
and Viking counters by clinching up.
Smash is trying to break the clinch but Viking has him pressed against the cage.
Smash breaks the clinch.
Smash has his takedown stuffed
and Viking counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Smash!
Viking thowing shots but they're missing.
Smash wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Viking.
Viking is landing with some decent strikes but Smash is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.

Viking is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Smash has managed to escape the submission attempt.
Viking pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
Viking takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Viking tries to control but Smash wriggling away.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Smash is looking to get to half guard.
Smash wants to try and get back to his feet.
Viking throwing sloppy strikes, which aren't doing any damage.
Viking controlling his opponent.
Viking fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!

Viking lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Smash hang on?
Viking trying to control but Smash is having none of it.
Smash holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Viking tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.
Viking can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Smash is looking to escape.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Viking won't let Smash get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now.
Viking goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Smash turns into him and now he's in Viking's guard.
Smash with a nice head shot there.

Smash postures up and lands a big shot to Viking's brow.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Smash avoids the head kick by Viking.
Viking shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Smash as he avoids it easily.
Smash wants to clinch
and Viking counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
Viking stalling away here and it's allowed Smash to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Viking's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Viking is looking to stand up but Smash won't let him.
Viking stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Smash swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Smash keeping moving, preventing Viking from controlling successfully.
Smash controls Viking momentarily but Viking frees himself.
Viking wants to stand but Smash is controlling his posture from full guard.
Viking stopping the sweep attempt from Smash.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Smash tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Viking counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Viking throws an overhand right that lands on Smash's shoulder, as Smash tries to avoid the shot.
Smash takes the fight into the clinch.
Smash breaks the clinch.
Smash gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Viking to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Smash is breathing heavily.
Smash wants to sweep here but Viking controlling him for the moment.

Smash is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.
Viking lands a left hand.
Viking jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Smash walks away with a smile on his face. Viking gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Viking has managed to clinch.
Smash jumps guard but Viking stands there with Smash around his waist. Smash gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Viking breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Viking misses the shot to the body.
Smash tries to clinch but Viking moves away
so Viking counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Viking trying to control but Smash is working from the bottom.

Viking missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Viking trying to stand up but can't free himself from Smash's guard.
Viking looking to pass the guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Techno Viking dominated that second round.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!
Smash throws a sloppy head kick and Viking moves out of range easily.
Viking throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Smash was covering up waiting for the punch and Viking finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Smash keeping full guard, as Viking tries to pass.
Viking looking to sit in guard and control but Smash gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Smash lands a couple of decent looking shots.

Viking seems keen to control Smash's posture.
Viking working for a triangle but Smash defends it easily.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Smash lands a couple of decent looking shots.
Smash chips away with some ground and pound.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Viking closes the distance and lands a one-two.
Viking shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Smash as he avoids it easily.
Smash pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Viking shoots for a takedown but Smash saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Smash fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Smash leaves Viking with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Techno Viking. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Smash throws a head kick but Viking moves out of range.

Viking shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
Smash is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Smash is in all sorts of trouble here.

Viking sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it!

Techno Viking overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Viking thowing strikes but they're hitting the gloves, not doing any damage.
Dustin Smash has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
You get the feeling that Smash really doesn't like being in this position too much.
Viking trying to control but Smash is having none of it.
Smash is trying to escape the mount.
And that's the end of the fight!
Techno Viking showed his dominance in that final round.
Well Viking has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
